Virgin Mary Deomeni (SUPPLICATION)

Handmade Orthodox Icon Virgin Mary Deomeni in natural rombolo pine wood. This icon was created on canvas and is made by a craftsman by hand according to the style, tradition and criteria of Byzantine art.

Deomene is also depicted sideways in representations of the Ascension from the early Christian era already. Facing sideways towards Christ, it is told mainly in the performances of the so-called Supplication, representing the Church and the faithful.
