Saint Porphyrios

Handmade Orthodox Icon Saint Porphyrios in natural rombolo pine wood. This Icon is handcrafted on canvas by a craftsman and embossed according to the style and tradition of Byzantine art.

Saint Porphyrios became a monk at the age of fourteen, on Mount Athos and then became Magaloschimos. He was ordained a Priest in Agios Charalambos Kymis. Twenty-two years old, he became a Spiritualist and a little later, an Archimandrite. With the foundation of the Catholic Monastery of the Transfiguration, he was entitled to see his dream come true.

His memory is commemorated on December 2.
