In the Monastery of the Theotokos of Kazan, in Russia, we find another depiction of the figure of Christ as Pantocrator. The work was created in the 16th century, during the reign of Ivan IV the Terrible, and is a typical example of the iconography of Christ of the Russian school, inspired by the first icon of Christ as Pantocrator, from the first half of the 6th century, the encaustic icon located in the Monastery of Saint Catherine of Sinai.
