Saint Nicholas (March 15, 270 – December 6, 343) is a Greek saint of the Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic Churches. He was a bishop in Myra in Lycia (Asia Minor), which is why he is also referred to as Nicholas of Myra, while in the West he is also referred to as Nicholas of Bari, as his remains are found in Bari.
