Elder Ephraim decided to become a monk and came to the desert of Mount Athos in Katounakia. By the Grace of God, he emerged as a practical guide in the pastoral care of marriage and the family, and his surviving letters are also a spiritual heritage and a “parenting school”. His memory is commemorated on February 27.
