Saint Andrew

Saint Andrew was the brother of Simon Peter and one of the twelve Apostles of Christ. According to the New Testament, he was the first to be called by Christ to become an Apostle, which is why in the orthodox tradition he is often called “Protokletos”. He died: November 30, 60 AD, Patras.
