Saint Irene (carved frame)

Orthodox Icon Saint Irene carved frame in natural rombolo pine wood. This Icon is handcrafted on canvas by a craftsman and embossed according to the style and tradition of Byzantine art.

Saint Irene lived in the 4th century. When she was revealed to be a Christian, she was ordered to be put to death. After many martyrdoms, she remained safe as a result of which a large number of people believed in her and in Jesus Christ. Her memory is commemorated on May 5.
