Handmade Orthodox Icon Saint Sophia and her Daughters Mirror in natural rombolo pine wood. This Icon is handcrafted on canvas by a craftsman and embossed according to the style and tradition of Byzantine art.

Saint Sophia (Wisdom) with her three daughters, Piste (Faith), Elpis (Hope) and Agape (Love), went to live in Rome during the reign of the Emperor Hadrian. After witnessing the martyrdom of her three children, Saint Sophia begged the Lord to take her to be with Him too, and her prayer was answered. Their memory is honoured by the Church on the 17th of September.
