Saint Alexander

Orthodox Icon Saint Alexander in natural rombolo pine wood. This Icon is handcrafted on canvas by a craftsman and embossed according to the style and tradition of Byzantine art.

Saint Alexander took part in the First Ecumenical Synod and toured many parts of Greece, to teach and make known the correct doctrines of the decisions of the Synod. Finally he was elected Patriarch, where he responded worthily to the circumstances of the times. His memory is commemorated on August 30.
