Holy Mandylion (carved frame)

Handmade Orthodox Icon Jesus Christ Holy Mandylion with hand carved frame in natural rombolo pine wood. This icon was created on canvas and is made by a craftsman by hand according to the style, tradition and criteria of Byzantine art.

It is a piece of cloth on which the image of the face of Christ has been imprinted in a miraculous way (Handmade Image). According to the [Orthodox Church], King of Edessa Avgaros was cured with it. He is also given the names “Mandelion” or “The Icon of Edessa”
