Saint Peter

Handmade Orthodox Icon Saint Peter in natural rombolo pine wood. This Icon is handcrafted on canvas by a craftsman and embossed according to the style and tradition of Byzantine art.

One of the 12 disciples of Christ, who was one of the first to accept, together with his brother Andreas, the call of the Lord: “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19). The Catholic Church considers him the founder of the Church of Rome, the first Pope of Rome and the first among the Apostles. His memory in all Christian denominations is commemorated on June 29, along with that of the Apostle Paul.
